Part OnePart TwoPart Three · The Arc of the Reunion

Three acts: a romance, a marriage, a reckoning.

~2 hours of reunion, analyzed line by line. The spotlight travels — from West and Ciara, to Kyle and the marriage, and finally to Amanda as the whole room weighs in at once.

Part One

The romance

West (45) and Ciara (37) are the most-named people. Their reciprocal conflict is the spine. Ciara is the top cast talker.

Part Two

The marriage

Kyle erupts to 54 mentions and a fifth of the airtime. Amanda's top word is "Kyle." West turns angriest in the room.

Part Three

The reckoning

Amanda becomes the most-named (29) as five castmates share the floor almost equally. The betrayed friends speak.

1

The spotlight travels

Each part has a different most-named person — West in Part One, Kyle in Part Two, Amanda in Part Three. Kyle is a one-act spike: barely discussed before or after his 54-mention eruption. West and Ciara fade steadily after their Part One peak. But Amanda is named heavily in all three parts (32, 36, 29) — the only person the room never stops discussing. The reunion has three subjects in sequence and one subject throughout.

Amanda's slow climb to the center

Amanda's numbers move in one direction all night. Her share of the talking rises every part — 8.3% → 11.5% → 15.9% — until she's the top cast talker in Part Three. Her negativity climbs in lockstep: 17% → 20% → 24% of her lines. The night progressively becomes about her, and progressively harder on her: by Part Three her vocabulary is "sorry," "care," "feelings," and her bleakest line is about being unable to watch the show back. Meanwhile West finally speaks in Part Three (14.5%, his max after two parts of near-silence) — and in 99 lines never once says Ciara's name.

Where the heat moved

The temperature has a shape too. Part Two is West's eruption — 40% of his lines negative, double his level in either other part, as the marriage fight pulls him in. By Part Three he's cooled back to 16%, but the heat doesn't dissipate — it redistributes: Kyle climbs every part (12% → 18% → 25%) and Amanda climbs every part (17% → 20% → 24%), so the final segment's hottest voices are the ex-couple and Jesse, the betrayed friend, who arrives in Part Two and runs hottest of all (26%) by the end. The night starts with one angry man and ends with a room full of quieter, spreading hurt.

The throughlines

The constant

Amanda

Top-three most named in every part. Rising airtime, rising strain. The reunion's one continuous subject.

The spike

Kyle

A one-act eruption: 54 mentions in Part Two, single digits either side. But his own negativity never stops climbing.

The fade

West & Ciara

The Part One center, declining every segment after. By Part Three, West speaks the most he ever has — and never says her name.

The late arrival

Jesse

Absent in Part One, hottest voice by Part Three (26% negative). The friendship betrayal is the story that builds.
